Nine films on Foreign Oscar longlist



IX films get gone forrader to the next round of ballot in the Best Foreign Words Film category for the Oscars.
Sixty-three films, including the Irish-language film 'Kings', had primitively qualified in this category.
The nine films in contention ar: 'The Counterfeiters' (Republic of Austria), 'The Year My Parents Went on Vacation' (Brasil), 'Days of Darkness' (Canada), 'Beaufort' (Israel), 'The Unknown Woman' (Italia), 'Mongol' (Kazakh), 'Katyn' (Republic of Poland), '12' (Soviet Union) and 'The Trap' (Srbija).
The Academy Award nominations will be announced on Tuesday 22 January with the awards ceremony taking topographic point on William Ashley Sunday 24 Feb.
